Hey there, i have a question or two about MD Juan/Omixada replacement front floor.... Ya the really expensive one!!! I would like to put a floor back into my cj5 and sheets of 4x8 18gauge that have been sitting collecting dust don't look there going to reshape themselves anytime soon; as i have no time like many of us!!! So I'm looking at prefabbed front and rear floors. I've noticed that the rear floor come with under channel supports, does this also hold true for the front? Can this front floor be ordered without the raised area in the floor pans like 72-75 and just flat for early style? What opinions do you guys have about whole front floor, except for the fact that it cost almost 1/4 of new tub? I know CE sells the individual floor panels, my problem is my tranny cover and whats left of floor and support channels are soooo f$%%ng rusted and warped id use a coil of mig wire just to fix!!! Any thoughts would help.
    Thank J

CE's front panels don't come with hat channels. That is a separate piece. At least that's the way mine came. Sounds like you'll be needing the hat channels too as a lot of the floorboard rust starts with them.

Ya i guess those factory hats were spotted in as bare metal on inside years ago.... the days before e-dip, plus add wood filler blocks that act like a sponges! i would think in within 5 yrs rusted out!!! Hence the reason why old reds floor look like swiss cheese!!!LOL
I'm always amazed at the idea of venting hot air through a cold window frame in the winter to defrost... Condensation+ metal= RUST=my rust aZZ window frame=I really should just get all new sheet metal!!! LOL
    Thanks J

Omix and MD Juan are two separate groups AFAIK.

If you're curious, you could always PM member jeephil88.

He works for MDJuan and has been active on the forum working to improve their CJ5 products.

If you use CE's floor panels, you want the hat channels separate. Makes the install easier, would be a pain to install the floors with the hat channel on them.
