Sorry about this everyone, I saw a post on this before, but looking around I could not find it.

What was the verdict for the size/type of bolt to replace the smog line holes on the manifold?

Should I also use some type of seal compound?

After removing the smog pump and related gear, will I need to adjust timing? other adjustments?

    Thanks.

1/2-13 threads, and yes I would use some kind of sealant and make sure the bolts or set screws are stainless.

I just replaced my crimped-off'ed tubes (tubal litigation?) with six 1/2-13x5/8 hex socket set screws this weekend. A little gas teflon tape on the threads and the holes are perfectly plunged.
