We are in need of a cover (inspection plate) for our flywheel. Any body have one for a good price, or know where we can pick one up?
Was reading in older post that some body was talking about posting a pattern. Wasn't able to find anything like that.

    Thanks

    nickmil In mothballs.

I could make a cardboard template of one If needed. Will take me several days as my workbench is covered with a transmission in pieces at the moment.
I posted a long time ago that I could do this but I received no responses so never followed through.

Yeah that would be great! I'm not in a huge hurry to get it at the moment so whenever you get the time just send me a PM. Unless you know of a place I can get one

Out of curiosity, is that the piece of sheet metal attached to bell housing in between flywheel and block?

I need a bead roller, then I can make a few. Just the regular flat sheet metal version I made is a little floppy (got loaded with mud as it flexed too much).

Hey Warloch, did you ever make some the bell housing inspection plates? I could use one for my 58 conversion. Otis, did Nic get you a outline for the inspection plate? If so could I get a copy of it....thanks in advance to you both ....

Didn't get a bead roller, but can trace them as well. I have a couple on the shelf for motors out of rigs at the moment.

I bought one of those from him. It is cut from a heavy gauge steel, looks like about 14 gauge so it won't flex much. It looks like reasonably good quality, fit well.

I can make a trace Saturday.

I've got my factory one in the shed in the 'clean parts pile' blasted and covered in shake and shoot waiting for reassembly.

    Let me know.
