I've been driving my jeep for a while since my rebuild and I thought I'd ask this question. Whenever I go around a turn even at low speeds, my tires squeal. It also does that when I hit an unexpected bump going over say 40mph as well as when I brake hard even when going straight. When I say brake hard, I don't mean on the verge of locking up, just more than a coasting stop. It seems to be coming from the front end. Should this be a concern?

I've got 31x10.50 BFG AT's, a 2" overstock spring lift, original shackles, and all new original steering from the steering wheel to the wheels. I bought the tires brand new and the jeep has 8000 miles on it since I rebuilt it and I don't notice any strange tire wear.

When I rebuilt the axles, I didn't mess with the mechanicals on the pumpkin. They looked to be unworn and don't have lockers or anything.

I'm running a dual M/C with the front North Atlantic Disc Brake swap(who seem to be out of business now since the website doesn't work)

I'm thinking I've got toe wobble on the front end. I'm not sure because I can actually go 70mph on the interstate and I can steer with one finger most of the time....so basically I don't have any noticeable front end wandering. Anyone have that same problem?

Are you sure that squeal is coming from the tires and not somewhere else? One thing I would think might do it is a missing bushing on your shocks

I had a similar issue. It turned out one of my front tires was low on pressure. Temps dropped 20deg after a cold front probably added to the problem.

It's got good tire pressure and brand new bushings on the shocks. It's the tires, it's a tire squealing sound

Matt, rotate tires and see what that does. Do you think the front disc are grabbing after everything has warmed up. The only time I every noticed tire sequel is in a parking lot on sealed asphalt or new asphalt.

Put the Jeep in 4WD and do a burn out, see if that helps lol
