tach V8 vs I6

    Is the tach for the 304 the same as the 258?

    Quadratec sells a single part number for a 76-86 CJ.

    A friend has a factory tach from an '80 CJ7 with the 258 and if it will work on mine I can get it from him.

    Don't know about the Jeep tach, but the aftermarket tachs usually have a jumper inside that you connect for 4, 6 or 8 cylinders. Take a look inside the tach.
