...with a McRuff shackle. I remember Mike saying these will give 3/4"-1" of lift besides beefing things up. I got so tired of looking at my sagging driver side rear corner, I decided to install just one for now and do the rest when/if I change springs.

    Before...leaned hard to the left:

After...both sides within 1/8" of each other:

Hey Jeepenstein, how's that 420 drive behind the 225? Is it a rough ride down the road? I have one in the corner of my garage sitting and I heard it makes the Jeep rumble and vibrate like a motorcycle so I decided to use the T-18 w/ granny low instead.....

Yeah, it's perfect. I figure the springs have probably settled all they're going to by now, so I'm hoping this fix is permanent.

I only had a little drive time on it with the 420 before I tore it down (the whole jeep) for more upgrades but I never had an issue with it.. Was a vast improvement from teh T-14 and the little extra weight actually amde it ride better as my jeep was actually a bit too light (glass body).

I still can't get the lean out of mine. I originally had the original springs reached. They settled, leaned and I sold them. I took the advice of several and bought a NEW set of springs; all 4. They settled and leaned, just like the originals. I bought a set of their add a leaf to the back, it settled and now it leans. I don't know what to do at this point.

I have heard of people, one of which my dad, who just beefed up the drivers side. That seems to work....until you have a front passenger, and it leans to the right.

Have you had yourself and another person sitting in the front? Did it stay level or lean to the right?

    Glad to hear it!

New shackles are coming up for me in the next year, I'll probably use a McRuff shackle on the lean.

See if you can get him to make you one longer one ;) I'd like to install my other 3, but it's so nice having the Jeep level that I'm not going to for now. (I also think he could sell the factory style shims that Timgr talked about).

MD, it's just been the dog or the girlfriend on the passenger seat so far and it doesn't lean. Neither of them weigh very much, but I don't think it's going to lean anyway. My driver side rear spring had sagged. The shackle just lifts it up the inch that it sagged. Of course, from behind, you can see that there are 2 different style shackles. Everything is black under there so it kinda blends and I really don't care anyway at this point...the Jeep was looking sort of ridiculous with so much lean so, for me, it's a good tradeoff. I'm just telling you this because I've seen your Jeep and it's perfect! One day I called my son to the computer to look at your engine bay. I told him, "That's the same Jeep as ours." He, of course, didn't believe me.

69, I'm flattered!, thanks, but every picture I have ever taken, I shoved the body over before I took one. It leans more than yours in that first pic. I'm like you, It's driving me nuts. It's like seeing a good looking woman with food stuck in her teeth and her not knowing it. I've had people in public say, "hey that's a nice jeep, but why is it leaning to one side like that?"
