Overdrive Install - Garage Mechanic Capable to Install?

    I can get my hands on an overdrive, but am questioning if this is something a very mechanical apt person can install? Have a '69 with factory comobo tranny and transfer combined. Haven't found any step-by-step unstallation instructions.
