Did a search but didn't find a lot of pictures. So if you can, please post up pictures of your exhaust routing! Stock manifolds, fenderwell headers and inside the frame headers. I want to see it all!

I'm planning on going with inside the frame longtubes, just haven't decided if I want to go true duals or a single 3" setup. Thanks guys!

I'm also interested. I'd like to know where the cross over in the y pipe would be for those running a single outlet.

    Fender well exit headers.

    Flow Master 40’s.

3” duals passing inside the frame at the rear wheel arches. On the passenger side the axle pumpkin will just kiss the exhaust at full stuff.

Single 2 1/2" pipe off stock exhaust manifolds through Delta flow 50 muffler. Have had multiple good comments on sound, and not too noisy inside either (from exhaust anyway).

So, it appears your crossover is near where the transmission bolts to the bell housing, correct?

The only thing I see with that setup is the unequal pipe lengths and the abrupt connection into the main pipe. There would be a lot of lost flow here and turbulent flows, not the best for performance

Mine is pretty much exactly the same as nwedgar's.. I had dual mufflers under the sides, but they were annoyingly loud, and I tore the driver side off twice in rocks..

Yes the crossover is where the bell housing meets the trans. This is essentially a "stock" setup in terms of where the pipes run.

Andrew, was your comment directed at my setup? If so, you might be right, but quite honestly a 360 with T18 performs pretty awesome, I doubt anyone could really tell if there is a performance loss unless it was put on a dyno. In hindsight, after driving this V8 powered Jeep, I would have no issues driving a straight 6 either, this thing has more power than I can use without breaking stuff.

My V-6 single exhaust is just like nwedgar except my muffler is tucked up higher.

Yes I was referring to your setup, nothing major just thought it looked a little sharp, could be improved with a more pronounced "Y" at the branch point. As you say a 360 in a Jeep is a bit of an overkill but its great in the mud and when you need the power. Mine is not too loud, nice burble, whats the point in having a V8 and then taking away the best sound track ever. Mine sits right up inside the frame rails, my mufflers are also right up high, if I manged to rip one off most of my drivetrain would have gone long before the exhaust.
