I could send a pm but I think others might like to know also. Chuck I know I asked a couple of years ago in general. I'm at the point to do this if its possible. With all new pieces I should install them now rather than after I've wore in the originals. Can you give me the specifics to swap to roller rockers?

Unfortunately I can not give you what I have. What I have is a setup by Kenne Bell that is no longer in production. I have looked them over, and I can not find any stamping other than Kenne Bell to try to ID the parts by.

However - for the nice price at TA Performance you can get these:

I know my setup is 1.65, and from what I know the base is the key to getting them to mount right. More than happy to snap pics if folks want (have some I'll put back on my site). McRuff got a set for a while that he took apart and measured in a possible future effort to see if making them would be an option.

Woah! Sticker shock. Any chance Mike has progressed on developing a set?

:)Granny, For the most part if you have an advanced motor with higher compression a Radical Camshaft ,increased lift , duration , aftermarket Manifold & Induction , ported cylinder heads and a balanced rotating assembly and your planning on spinning the motor over 6000 RPMs then by all means get yourself a set of Roller Rockers to enhance the little rocket ship!.................If not Buicks Stock shaft Rockers are quite strong & capable.........TA Performance does sell new & rebuilt shafts and rockers for a third of the cost of the new Roller Rockers..............:D

    260H Series
The perfect cam for vans, family sedans, pickups and tow vehicles. Provides exceptional power and a gas mileage increase, especially on the highway. With its great torque and throttle response, the 260H cam can also be used for OE replacement in most big block applications. Idle is smooth in large engines with stock exhaust systems. With headers, the 260H will produce a slight exhaust sound.

While not a radical cam by no means there is increased lift and duration over stock. There will be an Offy intake and fuel injection. The runners have been smoothed, port matching was not done because the ports were very close to begin with and headers into 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust. New springs with stabilizers and old stock rockers almost guarantee flex in the rockers. I've spent a lot of money and time to get robbed of .015-.020 lift.

:)Granny..........not trying to change your mind on how you spend your money but,...........there are only two points of flex in the Buick overhead............one is the rocker shaft and the other is the pushrods.

Neither rockers be it stock or Roller flex.

TA Performance sells a thicker wall rocker shaft that takes care of the "Stock" shaft in the event of any flex...........they also sell heavier wall pushrods that will help you with that .015-.020 thousands of lift that you may loose.:D

Have to ask what is the use going to be? That cam will affect the low end torque but maybe that doesn't matter if you have a granny low and low ratio axle gears so you can run high rpms. Have to agree with tarry99.

While I appreciate all the people that want to stick to the stock engine platform, there really isn't a replacement for displacement if you want any real high performance on the low end. My personal opinion is that roller rockers in that are most definately not worth the money for the very small increase in efficiency they may deliver-something you will never notice on the skinny pedal.
