V6 compression too low?

    Well I guess that rules out the 7.6 pistons.
    Low CR reading can also be related to faster than normal rotation of the crankshaft.

    I take CR readings with all spark plugs removed.
    I use a remote switch to activate the starter motor.
    Then I follow the Willys procedure posted here:
