The Jeep I purchased awhile ago, 1971 Jeep CJ5 Renegade 1 was missing the front floor pan piece that goes over the shifters. My question to you guys would be, how large is it supposed to be? I measure the opening to be roughly 22 inches wide at the rear and it gets narrower up near the firewall. Now the panels I seem to be finding from everyone else appear to be smaller than this. Also, since there was no gas pedal with this vehicle either, I have no clue as to where it mounts, but to only assume it would've mounted to the hump over the transmission that is missing??? The brake and clutch pedals are almost on the missing piece. If anyone has any pictures of their pedal setup if this sounds similar it would be immensly appreciated. Also, is there any manual out there that shows detailed pictures? Not looking for a generic Haynes or Chiltons. Prefer something that if I don't have a lot to go on, like missing parts and pieces, that I could then figure out what its supposed to look like and find what is missing. Thanks guys.

Get yourself a copy of the FSM (Factory Service Manual). Reprints are available. Do a search on this forum for a source on where to purchase one.
