Is there a werbsite or link that will give the basic steps on replacing the intermediate shaft and bearings in a '72 CJ....I've got the Jeep Owners Bible and the Jeep CJ Rebuilders Manual, but not finding anything on replacing the shaft without removing the xfer case.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Ross

Laying underneath, couldn't get a solid whack to drive out the shaft. Broke out the air chisel and that drove it right out. Shaft and needle bearings all "look" good, so 'm not optimistic that this is going to be the source of my driveline noise. Since the replacement shaft and bearing kit is pretty cheap, just going to replace it anyway to be sure.
