    Three questions.
    1. What is the best way to tell what kind of steel hard top I have?

    2. Is it possible to attach a hard top to a jeep with a soft top channel on the windshield frame? There doesn't seem like enough room to drill the bolt holes above the channel. With the way that my top is sitting.

    3. If it is not possible for me to attach the top to my windshield what might be the value of my top? All glass is intact,no dents, two doors with functioning rolling windows and mounting hardware.

I will post some pictures as soon as I figure out how...

Ok my top is a Myers top. Exact same as the one pictured. When you say screwed... Did you use sheet metal screws? Or did you drill holes and thru bolt?

Sheet metal screws. I'm assuming the holes were drilled by the dealer back in the day.

Keep in mind too that if you have your top setting on your jeep and not attached to the windshield, the front lip of the top will stand out from the windshield. The sheet metal screws will pull the top to the windshield. The screws are at least 1" long, either #10 or 12's I believe. I used hex head screws and washers that have rubber on the backside.

Did you use screws to secure the bottom lip to the tub as well? Or are bolts better suited for that application?
