   Need to replace water pump on my v6. I know the 225 and the 231 pumps are a different length. One is about 3/4 to 1 inch longer. I need the shorter one.
   Does anyone know which is the short one? 225 or the 231 one...

   Nick is right - I have fought this several times. I stick with a '68 225 CJ5 to get the short pump at the parts store.
