I got a set of Meyer plow brackets off a "63" CJ-5 last night. Guy had it listed on clist, body is pretty much gone. But what struck me as odd: it had Tuxedo Park badges on the hood, an F-head, 3 speed on the column, and a single stick transfer case. It just seemed like an odd combination, especially when the guy was touting it was "all original".

That's correct equipment for Tuxedo. A '63 would be a Mark III.

I don't think the '63 Tuxes had badges. Neither of the ones I've seen (one from some photos here and the Jeep-in-a-Barn) had Tux badges or special VIN numbers. That didn't start until '64 with the Mk.IV Tuxes. The owner probably got the year wrong since it has all the bona fides of a Mk.IV.
