FYI - Powerjection update. Drivability in the M-715's built 350 was starting to degrade a bit. Little hesitation off-idle and surging at open throttle. I chalked it up to crap getting in my pre-filter in the fuel pickup line and cleaned it out. Then it went down completely.

After a little R&D I discovered the TPS sensor had gone bad. Called the company and confirmed a few test proceedures with them. They offered to send me out a new TPS at no charge, but I nabbed a new one with a lifetime warranty at Autozone instead. They're like $20 - no biggie.

Tossed it in and it idles/snaps to attention like a champ now. I'm still getting a lean condition from the O2 sensor but that's because the clamp-on gasket doesn't seal my 3-inch exhaust pipe just right. There's a little leakage. The clamp-on bung is designed for a much smaller primary tube. I'm going to weld it up and trust my air/fuel ratio will be dead-on. Still, much better than a carb.

Thanks for the update. I've had your JP article spead out in front of me at the computer (with other junk stacked on it) for about a month now. Thinking this is the way to go.

This was what interested me the most for your application.

"The ECU is self learning but also comes with a program that can be loaded onto a laptop as in some cases minor triming is required for better idle & bottom end acceleration for engnes with a bit of work done to them."

Oh the Powerjection III is great, it's just not what JC Whittney is selling as the System. I have one on my '51 - look it up in the buids area.
