I went and looked at a 1967 CJ-6 I was interested in buying off of Craigslist. The rear springs were out-boarded was this stock? I did not think so, but the seller thought it was.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

It's here if anyone is interested as I'm passing on this for a few reasons.

X2 on the springs. A '67 didn't have flat front turn signals or the front side markers, I don't think. It also has a later windshield w/ the bottom mount wipers. No jeep of that era has a tilt steering column.
If it was represented as a restomod then no big deal, but it's definitely not an original '67.:v6:

Outboard springs - maybe they put it on a Jeepster frame? That's explain the D20 and what appears to be a centered D44 rear.

Front looks kinda long to me too, but I can't tell if it's Intermediate/late CJ hood and fenders or not.

Thanks for the information, The Jeep looks good in the pictures but as you get closer you notice the top was new in 1995 and the paint is cracking where bondo is. the rust on the fenders is where the seam is so they need to be replaced. The right rear shackel is 2-3 inches longer then the left side but it does level the jeep out LOL. The list goes on and on on whats wrong with it. He did say they were open to offers. Just not what was advertised or what I'm looking for at the moment.

Only stock outboard springs that I know of are on DJs. They came with centered 44s.
