    well
i know i am not supposed to keep track on how much a jeep costs.
but i have a $4000 rig that an old man pointed at this morning and started applauding.
    i love to drive it.
i think it is very cool.
and yeah i am proud of it.
thanks to you guys it happened.

+1. Way to get discouraged, lol.

$1650 is a great deal for something you are driving. I only paid half that, but I got seriously ripped off. Body tub is literally going to have to be recycled at this point. (Can you even recycle pure fossilized rust?)

4 grand for driving something you love and gets noticed where ever it goes, not bad. And it's a cool looking ole jeep

That will be awesome....Love the 1/2 tops. My dad had one on a 57 when I was little. I can still see that thing in my mind. It was red with white 1/2 top and white wheels. He also had a 55 with full hard top it was gray with red wheels. Love these old jeeps. I got the bug from my dad. Guess it really is a jeep thing huh.

I run my soft top in the winter and a custom heater I made from a mustang II. It works great for the winters here in Ohio

a few things forced my hand in getting the 1/2 cab
    window replacement cost
    less space to heat
stinky stuff storage in back (gas cans)
    weight
    coolness factor
    and the really big one.
roll down windows you can rest your arm on that are big enough to see out of.

    thanks COLORADO-BAJA
    i got it yesterday.
the windows roll up and down.
cancer on the bottom portion of the rear section.
    everything else looks good though.
it came with glass for the 2 small windows.
these doors are much nicer than the kelly's.
i am going to knock off all loose paint and sand it smooth.
    replace that rusty bottom section,
    rattle can it.
    get glass installed.
    and use it!.
BTW my side mount spare carrier showed up yesterday also.

BTW i took it for a 4 hour drive at around 11,000 feet yesterday.
the 134f ran like a champ.
    no stalling /sputtering etc.
i froze my butt off up there.
    heater is the next thing!
