Just went to Kragens (Checkers) tonight to see if they had an MV-50. Well, they didn't, but the store about 5 miles away does. I'm heading over there tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait!:D

Well, I went to two other Kragens who were supposed to have the MV-50s, but apparantly the nitwits behind the counter can't read part numbers right and they both were wrong. I might as well save myself the trouble and go and try to order the MF-1050 from PepBoys instead of trying to save a few bucks.

Well, I called the Checkers that's on my route home from work, and they said they had one and would set it aside for me with my name on it. Stopped by after work and there it was. Tired it out and it seems to pump really good. I'm sure I'll find plenty of uses for it! Great deal at $24.99!

Seems as though people have caught wind of how good these compressors are. A friend of mine works in Livermore and checked both of their Kragens and one store had four on the shelf yesterday, but a guy called up from out of town and bought all four. Those stores checked around in that area and it looks like even the Bay Area is cleaned out.

anybody hardwire one of these babies yet?

wondering if i should remove the existing wires (if possible) or cut and splice. gonna be a couple weeks before i can mount it under the driver seat anyway...

i would like to be able to disconnect it and move to another vehicle if needed. maybe i need to get some connectors so it can be "unplugged" from my jeep and then just "plug in" the clamp wires.

my fusebox has an extra heavy gauge wire just waiting to be put into use. already tested it out by clamping to the wire and grounding to the jeep body. works great.
