I'll summarize and rearrange a bit:

    1) Read instructions

    2) Know that oil may drip out

    3) turn wheels all the way to one side or the other. ( they later state it is best to have your front axle jacked up -use jack stands)

    4) Loosen original lock nut from the steering box

    5) Remove the original set screw from the steering box

    6) Thread Tightsteer into the hole until it contacts the cam (also known as a "worm"), then hand tighten (don't use wrench) until snug (per google translate snug = confortable), now turn the jeeps steering wheel back the and forth to allow the Tightsteer to find its seat.

    7) now loosen the tighsteer 1/4 turn (90 degrees), then hold it with a screwdriver and tighten the lock nut to 35 ft-lbs (52 kg-m). Or just good and tight with a wrench.

    8) Turn steering wheel back and forth all the way. I think this should be done on the jacks, then lower the jeep down and test again. If you feel binding, loosen the tightsteer 1/4 turn. Then try the steering wheel again.

    9) if you still feel binding, the steering box may be too worn to be saved with the tight steer.

    10) re-fill the oil in the steering box with SAE 80W140

Good, thanks, they should employ you... I feel it better now. To put the front wheels on jack to have the direct feeling is good.
I'll prepare this calmly... It is so easy to make a mistake.
And if the worm is too used, I'll find an other solution, maybe.

No, not this time, maybe 100 km...
Once we had it in the village! and some years ago not far, 10 km... and an other time 15 km...
    Of course we were there.
It is very serious. And fast.
    You must take care.
Competitor are not smiling, their face is rigid, they are under action... like a fight.
Car and motorcycles of the teams, of police, go fast too, there are lot of noise... it is a sort of D Day!
There are horns, sirens, whistles....people shouting! like a storm...
When they have passed, you can start again to breathe normally!

    :( :( :(

The difference would be based on the engine your jeep left the factory with, V6 or F4. V6's became available in '67 and those models had a heavy duty steering box but the F4 model still used the original smaller steering box.

I think the easiest thing to do in your situation is to take the steering box cover to a machinist and have it drilled and tapped to work with you tightsteer.

    Thanks...
I don't know if it is easy to remove the steering box cover without causing any damage inside... And I must find a "machinist".
I have some old tools for this, but better to stay calm.
A neighbor of mine makes this, I can imagine a possibility..
I can also order the smaller model and try to sell this one in France.
I suppose that I cannot make mistakes now! But mistake is not from me in fact, anyway.

Probably... I just asked to to manufacturer Siminoff if parts 100 and 200 have the same length to work... I don't want to make things worse!

I have got the answer from Siminoff... parts 100 and 200 have the same length.
But Mr Siminoff told that that it would be easier for me to buy from his European distributor, which is in France...
So I asked, and asked for exchanging reasonably at the same time my 200 against the 100.
I wait for the answer, but I see the jeepsudest.com is attacking the Jeep market with strength.

That is a cool website. I can't read french, but they have a tab on their page called "Le magasin" which includes a 3d view in a museum that you can move around. There appears to be an MA in the museum. Have you been there, Alan?

"cool" = "good" in the USA.

And I see that Jeepsudest is rushing on the Jeep market transforming the French army Jeep Htchkiss under licence in D Day US army jeeps.... Top price.
The Frech army until 1965 was big, lot of people, Jeep repair shops, stock of parts and after all colonial wars, no need of such a big army.
Transforming these Frech Jeep used in colonial wars in the US army victory Jeep is the idea, just need paitig and decals!
After the end of colonies, and the role of French army, suddenly no soldiers in uniform in the streets...
Before, it was good to see soldiers. 2 friends of mine, older by 4 years, were Red Berets..
But after 1968, not good to show in uniform.
Only now, with use of army againt terrorists, it is welcome again, slowly.
