Support the body from the frame at all points... Interesting thought.

Yep..........its the only way so that all the mounts are working together from a common foundation........I know it may incur some extra work..........but in the long run , with all the nice things you have already done to your project , it will be much nicer than having the body semi fixed to the frame ..........or in your words..... "its almost like i have a solid mounted body" .

    thoughts...?
has some time, sandpaper and paint...
was going to do floor liner, or is the contrast appealing?
I happen to galvanize the shifter boot ring, and had solid core aluminum rivets from the Rover laying around..

    started plugging the bolt holes.
Guy at work said use a penny and weld em up..
The copper conducts, but it doesn't stick.
On a shoddy welding bench it burns, or newer pennies are made of magnesium...

Needs more more grinding before filler..

pg. 9 about a quarter of the way down..

it was part of the JeepAir kit.. installed very nicely and simple instructions.
haven't had a top on the jeep, but it blows cold and compared to my Rover its hurricane force winds coming from the vents. Small compact under dash unit..

Blew through whatever gas was left over from the winter and washed it over the weekend..
its ready for some miles and more shake down runs before turning my attention to engine tuning.
of course there is still the ever present "to do" list, but its getting shorter and less important (like who needs hazards)

Working on buttoning up E brake and hazard switch

Needed a post to keep research and thoughts orginized:

    Hazard:

The hazard switch has 5 terminals (1 on each corner and 1 terminal in the middle). The middle post of the switch receives the pink hazard power wire. The remaining four posts tie into the 1. R front turn signal (Blue #725) and 2. L front turn signal (Lt. Blue #726) 3. Wire from turn signal switch to Brake Switch (White #718) 4. Wire from Brake switch to tail lights.

    E - brake pedal wire

made my 5 wire Flasher harness over the weekend..
does the stock CJ harness have a connector for the flasher, or was it connected with spade ends?

I wanted to make the entire dash "disconnectable" with enough slack on switches that im not pulling things off accidentally. Now I just have to figure out where the 5 wires go(y)
