That's exactly what I did as a matter of fact. I guess I didn't look into their web site deep enough. I thought they only made the gas tanks.

On my second visit I see the "air boxes" link.

    Thanks.

    BLACKMGTD:

Blue man group made millions adapting plumbing pipe to musical instruments.
Your set up reminds me of that, I like it. It is innovative and original and obviously you are proud of it as you should be.
I am a plumber by trade so I have a special fondness for your adaptation.
I have a full shop, so if you want me to fabricate a couple adapters for you to tie in the 11/2" PVC to the 2 1/2" ports and loose the 4" dryer vent hose I would be happy to do that brother.

I tried a personnel message , don't think I did it correctly so I posted this here hoping you will pick it up

While you all are on the subject of the heater for a '74, does anyone know if a heater core seal existed before '77 and if so, where I might find one? When I removed the existing heater core it had some black sitcky mastic stuff wrapped around each pipe.

I made a seal for mine out of some closed-cell foam I had around. I punched holes with a socket. Blunt, but if you hit it with a hammer, it punches a hole just fine.

Sounds like a winner to me, looks like I'm making one.

Ok back on the plumbing thing,,, If you go to a plumbing warehouse you can pick up this stuff we call Rubatex Tape. It is like an insolation tape, we use it to wrap around pipes to insulate them. That is what I used on mine and it worked pretty well.
    Good Luck
