It has a hood, I can see it, right there. :D

Installed the "new" hood. I like it rusty looking! Wish the whole thing was patina painted.

Is that the original color of the hood?

Hand sand the layers until you hit the original color.

I bought a 3" x 3" x 3/8" piece of angle 53 inches long. I'll get some pictures up once I figure out the bumper configuration. I was going to have a fancy one fabbed up but let's be honest. This is not a restoration piece. It's a down-and-dirty Jeep for my wife to drive through the woods. She's already talking about an outrageous lift kit, wheel spacers, etc...

Thanks WyoMike for the pictures. You can do a lot with Angle that big!

That's what I thought too when I did mine.

its been awhile. busy with other obligations of adulthood. I ordered a muffler kit and glass pack today. I cut the old crappy muffler off because 1. it didn't do anything and 2. what was there didn't work anyways. so hopefully I can get that installed by next weekend. wife likes it loud. I detest it loud. its her jeep so her choice for the most part. I compromised and said she can install a glass pack.

if it would warm up I could get to the painting part.

Let us know how you like them. I’ve been debating them myself.

Shackles should be fine. Do the springs come with late style bushings?

Doesnt appear so. If they can support 55+ then they either have to ship double bushing (new style and old) or none. My bet is none.

Leaf springs arrive just this morning and they are already packed with bushings.
