Anyone done this? Recommended? The donor for my power steering has AC system with all the brackets. Considering another visit to the yard.

Yea I gathered just about everything to do it. If you air your tires down when you ride or just want to run some air tools or something sure. If you can get a york 210 compressor.
I hear the mopar rv2 compressors have more cfm but don't hold me to it.

If you go with a york, make sure you have all the engine pulley from the donor.

Amc v8 from jeep using the york 210 have a 3 row pulley on water pump and crank, two row pulley on alternator, ps pump and york compressor.

You need them because alternator with a single belt wont cover enough lenght on alt pulley so belt will slip over the pulley making the alt to not work properly.

I did use the york for some time but i took it off because i did not have the pulley set-up from the donor. I will take the engine off the jeep this winter and maybe fab some braket for idler pulley to correct this problem.
