I'm going aftermarket, currently I have a set of old van seats that will work but I am working on a trade for a nice set of Bestop lowback seats which should look really nice in the 2A. As of now I am off for the weekend so hopefully I will get to pick up some metal tomorrow and get some work done over the weekend if I can sneak out to the garage.

Heres some pics of the finished pedal mounts and master cylinders. Once all the lines are hooked up I will see if there is any firewall flex and if so I will tie the underdash bracket into the dash by the steering column. Also heres some pics of the wheelhouse notch in progress.

Well I hate to do it but I listed it for sale. I cam across a really good deal on a house that needs a ton of work so there will be no time or money for the flatty if I get it. Check out the classifieds for details...

Oh man!! I was just going to comment that I enjoy seeing your progress come along! And taking ideas (such as the rocker guards)
If I had the $ and lived close I'd buy it... Shucks :( Hopefull the next owner will keep up this thread?

Well I'm gonna keep at it till it sells and if it doesn't sell then I guess I have to keep it, right? ;)

If I may ask, for that price, why couldn't you afford to keep it? I assume it's all paid for and all, how about dormant-inize it for a while?

I still might keep it as I have wanted one for a long time and it really doesn't cost anything but space. The problem is I would only have a one car garage for now which would need to be the shop/storage for fixing up the house. Also I know myself and I would still keep working on it and buying stuff for it which would eat into the time/money for the house and I would rather invest in the house right now. I'll still have my TJ though and I am sure I will get another flatty to build in a few years if this sells.

Well she's gone, it was picked up yesterday :( Hopefully she will have a good home and the new owner will continue the build up.
