wow, that's nice looking El Camino! However, you know I'm looking for something to overwhelm me with crazy amounts of work/play. Something which will be terribly expensive to restore, kind of a self punishment? lol Going to look at the Chevelle about noon~ I'm thinking to trade in my Big Tex '14 trailer and get a transport trailer. I could really use one of those!

Yes it is. In my possession since Feb 1986.
Very complete and stock but needs everything. Bodywork, paint, interior, trunk floor, engine rebuild.

Well, I'm not buying that Malibu, omg, I Thought my Bronco was a rust bucket! This Malibu was way beyond my capabilities. So, back to the AMX and/or Barracuda search. However, the seller was very nice and understanding and gave me a tour of his stuff of which he had plenty. I really didn't want a Malibu anyway, it was just close by and worth a look.

It’s a great price , just seems like it should be a lot more! Shame they didn’t take care of the body work before all the mechanical. How much dollars would be in the cuda as it is? ?

I’m having difficulty finding a restorable car, I’m really loving the 67-68 cuda. I’d like to do that if I do find one, but has to have air conditioning. I’ll remain patient;)

No updates for my update on a project:( I've really my heart now set on the 67-69 Barracuda, but they're not plentiful at least around Texas. Seems like mostly east, northeast ish, or should I say, 8-10hours away. Gary is not wanting to drive~ his back doesn't do well with long drives. I found possibly a decent project, but it's a 11 hour drive, possibly longer pulling a trailer. I don't want to buy sight unseen, so I thought maybe fly out there, look, then get a car transport company to take it home~ is that kind of not so smart? I gave up on the idea and just waiting for something within a reasonable drive.

I'd just soon find a rolling chassis as I'd like to do this upgrade with a Hemi. I found it's kind of a popular swap~ but I can dream in the meantime;)

Are you wanting to keep it or just looking for some self flagellation?
I've got a 63 Rambler classic 770 in anniversary gold sitting outside. 4 door V8, PS, AC, automatic. Has the original window sticker in the glove box.
I'd be willing to deliver it.
Of course, I'll want it back when you are done.....................................:D

Thanks jeep dad;). Basically it’s just something to keep me busy. I appreciate the offer, but I’ll keep what I restore or sell eventually to pay for another project. Gary just wants me to make the next restoration last for at least a couple years;). However that 63 Rambler sounds neat, how about posting a pic of it?
