Next up..... Serpentine accessory drive system.
With this setup we get some automatic upgrades
    Alternator to a 140 amp
Power steering pump is upgraded to a GM type 2 with remote reservoir
Sanden 7B10 AC compressor for the eventual AC install

I felt that the satin black anodized system was the cleanest looking...... But the old man wants shiny so we went with clear ceramic coated polished aluminum for long lasting shine.

I agree with the ole man. I like shiny things. Hopefully this isn’t cvs stuff though.

Dang daddy sodas, meant CVF. That’s what we used on the Falcon and damn little of that kit actually worked…

Hopefully it works….. I bought their recommended water pump. Apparently everything indexes off of that. The alternator, power steering pump, ac compressor all come with the kit. Everything mounts to the flat plate. It better work or I’m gonna send it back!!

Ya we probably should have. We just did the pulley and bracket kit, not the serpentine. But the alternator pulley didn’t fit either the stocker or the 10si alternator I put on the f100. The alternator spacer was off, and the power steering setup wasn’t for a stock setup but rather the Canned ham gm style pump.:banghead:

The March serpentine set up the in-laws put on their Torino 429 is an absolute work of art. I really like their stuff.

    That sounds like a nightmare!
Unfortunately for AMC engines the CVF kit is the only offering.

One Piece axles are on the way to eliminate the troublesome 2 piece AMC shafts.

Just pulled the trigger on the front suspension.
Control Freak complete front clip. Power rack and pinion, Viking coilovers, Wilwood Pro spindles and provisions for Wilwood brakes.
This is going to be good. :D

Today we ironed out the rear suspension. We went with the Control Freak rear Parallel 4 bar with coilovers and panhard bar. This car is going to be on rails!

To stop this thing we have made a decision on the brakes as well. 13" rotors up front with 6 piston calipers, 12" rotors out back with 4 piston calipers and integrated parking brake. Wilwood
master cylinder and proportioning valve to smooth it all out. We are looking at 17" wheels now....

This one sub-assembly is higher tech and more complex than an entire CJ-5!

I think we have made a decision on wheels and tire size!
    Front 17x8 with 245/45/17
    Rear 17x9.5 with 285/40/17
    Should be lots of grip!
Wheels will be vintage style 60's Trans am racing replicas.
