I have a 63 CJ5 and was curious if later CJ5 or CJ7 tops and roll bars would work on mine.

Mine currently has an original safari type of set up but doesn’t have any canvas. A replacement canvas is proving hard to find at the moment so I’m looking for alternatives.

I personally like the military style "summer" top. No side panels. The military bows can be fitted to a CJ5.

The roll bars that mount on top of the rear fender wells will fit your '63. Tops for a CJ5 up thru 1975 should fit too. After that, the windshield frame lays back more, and is narrower.
Your Tux originally came with a black or white "pinpoint" grain vinyl top that used footman loops/straps rather than snaps. You will have to have one custom made as they haven't been made like that on over 50 years. Best Top is likely your best option for a top today.

Should be able to get a marine canvas type place to handle making a new canvas piece.
