I'm wondering what is the front axle width of a truck dana 25 and or 27. There is a guy near Marietta Georgia with a set he says is a dana 53 rear and dana 27 ( not 25?) out of a Willys truck for $100 I am looking for a cheap front end to swap into my 1966 cj5 which has a broken dana 27. Information appreciated. I don't have any issues with my dana 44 rear but would the dana 53 be a decent spare?

Those axles are wider than a CJ axle.

A LOT wider. Keep looking there should be someone with some stock CJ axles in your area.

The rear is wider than the front on the early trucks.

That truck front axle should be around 57" where the CJ is around 48"; big difference! That rear D53 could be 63" where your CJ rear is the same as the front at 48".
