Rollcage soft top measurements

    Figured I'd build a cage before taking the CJ-6 to TDS this year so my head doesn't get crushed like a melon when I roll it. If anyone out there is running a Bestop Tiger Top on thier '6, could you give me the measurements of the top bows both from the bottom of the tub and from the tailgate? I'll be running one of these tops eventually, but I'm not going to get it until after this summer.

    For example, Bow #1, tktk-inches from tailgate, tktk-inches off floor, and so on.

    I can get those measurements for you when I get SSDutch back from the rollcage fabrciator (time to light a fire down there I think). The 6 Tigertop is nice because you get about 2" more height in the softtop than a CJ5.

    Cool. Thanks much. I'll probably do something similar to your cage, but a little different in the back. I probably wont start it until mid-February, so no rush.

    Going to start bending this week. Figured out that I just need the measurement from the top of the rear hoop (over or directly in front of the rear seat) to the floor tub. Anyone with a stock rollbar or a custom one that fits the soft top have a number for me? Thanks in advance.

    Aaagh. Sorry I didn't get back to ya. Took way longer to get the 6 back than I expected.

    How'd you come out on the cage? Did you bring it further to the rear?

    Digital is in the shop for a tune up. Be a few days for pics.

    It's back farther. Few other differences, mainly not quite as elaborate as SSDutch's.
