My tune-up hasn't gone so well. No fire from the 225 yet. Can't seem to get spark, I've replaced most of the ignition system. It seems to be a wiring issue, a PO seems to have done some strange things with the coil's wiring. New plugs, wires, coil, cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil, PCV valve, air filter, points look new. Just gotta start probing the wiring I guess.

Just got your first jeep? Nice. I'm in the St Louis area. From your posts, sounds like you really did do what I did, a '66 CJ5 with the Dauntless and a T-86. If you figure out what you're going to do with that T-86, please let me know. As soon as I can get it fixed, I should be able to get this thing moving under its own power. The Dana 18 and the 225 are supposed to be in good shape, but I have to do a tune-up on a Jeep that hasn't been fired up in 2 years.
