Hello -
I have 58’ CJ5 that is living up to the jeep motto, Just Empty Every Pocket. JEEP.
The CJ5 was a rescue from those horrible fires in San Diego several years back. Over the last four years now, Father -inlaw and my brother in-law and myself have done a complete frame off rebuild, reusing what we can, she has great bones and has had everything less the brakes and axles either replaced or rebuilt.

She is bone stock and the idea was to keep her that way so we have a rig to hunt and wheel around in. Also, so we want to keep it stock so we wouldn’t have to chase the weak link in bigger tires or more engine…… But Alas….Now we have the rebuilt near complete or so we thought and we got to do some dirt driving and she isn’t right. So I am here to learn and enjoy the ride.

The CJ5 was a rescue from those horrible fires in San Diego 6 years back. Over the last three years, my brother in-law and I have done a complete frame off restoration, she has great bones and has had everything less the top end of the engine and the axles either bought new or rebuilt.

She is bone stock and the idea was to keep her that way so we have a rig to hunt and wheel around in. Also, so we want to keep it stock so we wouldn’t have to chase the weak link in bigger tires or more engine…… But Alas….Now we have the rebuilt complete or so we thought and we got to do some dirt driving and she isn’t right. So I am here to learn and enjoy hte ride.
