Bent push rods

    Gonna either replace or remove and hammer my bent push rods straight. Does anyone know the correct torque for the apparatus that holds them down?
    Thanks much.

    P.s.- don't worry about how they got bent, long story, didn't want to bore you guys.

    Not really. These push-rods are solid and if you go easy on the hammer and flat steel surface you can true them back. Straight edge straight edge straight edge is key.

    They used to say roll them on a piece of Plate glass to check the straightness.
