valve adjustment

    How do I know if I need to do a valve adjustment on my F head without taking it apart and doing it.

    An abnormal ticking of the valves and a subsequent loss of power due to the valves being to loose. When you adjust solid lifters you always want to be as close to the spec as possible or have them loose but you never want them tighter than the factory specs as this can lead to burnt valves.
