I am going to redo my tire carrier. I am thiknig bout offsetting it to the right side and on the left side i will make a monut to have a large box to hold supplies and such. and above both i will have a cooler rack. Anyone have pics of thier offset setup?? Only thing is my rear lights would be concealed in their current spot. So i am thinknig bout relocating the lights into the bumper. And is there a place that i can look at differnt size containers to hold stuff? Looking for waterproof. Ammo cans will not be sufficient enough, gonna use a palastic container. Also this monut for the container will be able to hold a gas can if i taike the storage container off. Guess i have to draw this sucker out :) Anyone do this yet??

Use the plastics hunters sports box. All kinds of sizes available at Wal-Mart or any outfitter.

    How big is your spare?

I thought of doing the same thing but I wheel the Jeep from time to time and I didn't want too much hanging outside off the bumper, as it "could" get all smashed. I made a box that mounts in place of the rear seat using the factory body mount locations similar to that Tuffy box. All the spares and stuff go in there. I'm planning on welding on some 8 - 12" tabs to mount a "safari-like" rack over the box to carry additional items (cooler, tent, potty, etc). This keeps everything inside, and dry as I can get the soft top up when raining.

But if you don't really wheel the thing where you might back into junk, I suppose hanging it off the bumper is cool.

Unfortunately i have to keep th ebackseat for the man-child. The rear box wont hang out any farther than the spare tire. It will be protected by the support arm i will have to hold up the cooler basket. I will run a fullsize spare, probably around a 35-36. :) I dont know exaclty what size box, just looking for someplace that has an assortment that i can go through :)
