It will get there, just hammer and vise and some heat to reshape them slowly as they got quite mangled in previous orientation
glad you got the hinges sorted out
now the windshield filler strip has two functions
1 it squares the top of windshield . to top
2 also seals area for front of upper part of door
It appears it goes under the hinge socket also
I’m not sure I will get to fabbing up cornerpost pieces soon. I may just make use of screw holes present and add some flashing to keep out most of the draft. Doors will be a “winter driveway plow only” item. The other 3 seasons, no doors.
I keep the jeep off the road in winter to minimize any salt contact.
On a separate note the LED light is awesome. No glare and can be seen from space.
anyone have a name or source for the felt/stainless channel for rear windows?

Well now, the plot thickens. Windows were converted to sliding windows apparently? I assume you do see the original window opening with the rounded corners?

Scott I have the windshield filler pieces. PM me. I had no idea you were having this struggle. I could have straightened you out right away if I had known. Sorry dude, I thought you had them on your windshield frame when I was there.

Just came across this thread, on an old trick to making the doors work freely is to loosen the door hinges on the body and install a rod through both hinges,one rod that is long enough to go through both hinges at one time, 5/16ths IIRC, and snug the hinge bolts. This will give you a known starting point, then install the door with it's hinges loose, slowly snug the door hinge bolts while opening and closing the door, every time you tighten a bolt. If you encounter a tight spot try moving the door up and down on the latch side of the door. Hard to describe, hope it makes sense. This may not work with parts subjected to a field press (BFH) Good luck!
