Having the body off center will twist (turn) the radiator so it's not square to the frame

Very long day trying to figure this out. I tried shifting the engine to the passenger side. I first tried to just loosen the motor mounts and use a pry bar but eventually just pulled the grill again and took out the motor mount bolts completely. We guess what I learned.....the drivers side frame mount is not slotted like the passenger side so that means no way to shift engine via the mounts. In the 3 hours messing with it all, I only gained maybe, and I mean maybe, 1/16". It was a total pain as I had no help so was up and under more times than I want to remember. So I put it all together looking for any other possible adjustment. But as I started to put the grill in, I flipped it upside down to look at that center bolt and low in behold, it's a strange bolt. It's offset in design. I haven't tried it yet but I think by turning the bolt head thru the grill, it will shift the grill right to left. I'll probable mess with it a few minutes in the morning to see.

Back to trying to figure this out. In the pics below, the bolt on the top side between the grill slats goes thru the grill and down the bottom side thru a part of the frame and rubber donut then bolted down. As you can see from the bottom side, you can see there is an oblong 'lobe'. I assume that bolt is for adjusting the grill for centering, but I can only seem to turn it a very little in either direction. Anyone know the definitive use of this bolt?

That center bolt holds the grill to the chassis. There is an eccentric on the shank of the bolt that allows for some "adjustment" to get the hole to line up. All you need are the rubber doughnuts and washers on either side of the frame tab to help from cracking the metal as the body flexes relative to the frame. Once the bolt is though the hole, hold the head steady while you tighten the nut from below.
This eccentric makes up for mis-alignment of the body relative to the frame. Usually, the eccentric bolt is long gone, with a standerd bolt in its place. I have spent hours getting a tub with fenders to line up perfectly centered when the grill is ready to snug down that eccentric bolt.
