    All,

I have an opportunity to buy 4 newish 33x9.5x15s bfg mtr for $450 CDN. I have a few questions for you. The Jeep has a 2.5" BDS lift on it and I am not sure that these tires will fit. They are plenty skinny, so I think that they might work out. Opinions? I am also worried that they might ride too hard. Does anybody run these tires? Whats your opinion? Like many of you I fall in the tall and skinny tire preference category. Does anyone have a pic of thier Jeep with these tires?

I'm happy with my MT's...I run the 32 x 11.50's. After switching from a set of bias ply Cepek Fun countries I thought I had traded the Jeep for a Caddy. Just don't overinflate them - find the right PSI by putting chalk marks across the tire and driving around, airing up or down to get even wear patterns. I'm at around 22 PSI on the street.

You should be able to fit them with the lift you have.

AFAIK they aren't making that size anymore either...tho my dad has a set on his TJ that he bought last year. He mounted them on the stock grizzly wheels and they look great.

Karl: I run BFG 33x12.5 MTR's on 15x10" wheels with a 2.5" lift and 1.5" shackles. everything clears fine except for a little "Lug Rub" on the ft. springs at full lock.

    BFG MT? or Goodyear MTR?

Just to clarify, BFG makes MT's, Goodyear makes a Wrangler MTR.

    Gents,

They are BFGs. Pricing for these tires is about $200CDN new. He assured me that they have 90% tread left. I think I will go ahead and get them. I am just waiting on approval from my finance minister.

Sparky: Funny, everybody I know has called BFG Radial Mud Terrains BFG MT/R's. Actually, I guess it should be R/MT's. But it is sort of a moot point now since BFG doesn't use the "Radial" designation anymore.
