Does anyone know where I can find stock motor mounts for a 1971 CJ5 with a factory 225 V6 engine?

The PO took the engine out and lost the motor mounts and I have not been able to find a listing at any of the local parts stores.

I also need the crossover pipe for the exhaust system. This the pipe that ties the left and right exhaust manifolds together.

    Thanks

You can get the motor mounts by asking for mounts for a 1975 Buick Apollo, one side is exact the other side comes in a generation 1 and a generation 2 you will need the generation 1 mount. I can get the part numbers tomorrow.

Give me till tomorrow to get part numbers, they are about $12 a piece at the local auto parts. These are not special order items that need to be gotten from Herm or anybody else. We just bought them for firefighter mikes cj6 for $11 and some change about 2 weeks ago. These are not Jeep specific mounts, they are standard Buick motor mounts.

Herm's are $95 - so why the huge price difference I wonder? Seems like they all ought to be similar....

Here are the part numbers I got from a local parts house for the v6 motor mounts. They are anchor industries mounts:
    #2383 Left mount
    #2384 Right mount
These mounts are listed for a 1975 Buick Apollo, 1977 Buick estate Wagon, 77-78 Buick Electra and a 75-77 Buick Century.
The numbers that were posted above from Napa differ slightly, the anchor book shows a generation 1(#2383), generation 2(#2382) mount for the left side.
The number for the left mount from NAPA for a 1975 Apollo is 6021389 instead of 6021390, the 1390 is the 2nd generation mount. They look the same from eyeballing them, they must be close enough to fit, but I think you should take the left mount and verify it no matter what since there are 2 numbers so close together and the mounts look the same.

Jeff, I think those are the same numbers I used. I'm pretty sure the prices were the same as well. :)

Got mine last year in April while doing the SM465 swap. Pulled the tranny/t-case and I thought the engine would fall out because the motor mounts were so bad!

I just purchased and installed the NAPA (Balkamp) mounts in my 71 RII. I could see absolutely NO DIFFERENCE in these mounts with regard to attach points, though. The left mount was packaged in a Balkamp box, but the right mount was packaged in a plain brown box with a generic NAPA label on it. Both have the safety feature that keeps the engine in place in case the rubber fails.

    Item: Motor Mount - Front
    Product Number: BK 6021006
    Price: 9.99
    Item: Motor Mount - Front
    Product Number: BK 6021390
    Price: 9.49

I have included photos of these new mounts next to my original mounts. Installation was easy, and I have more clearance between my driver's valve cover and firewall. I did have to slightly bend one flange of the passenger mount farther in so it wouldn't ride the oil pump. Now I'm one step closer to getting my T-18 installed.

The NAPA #'s that DNB posted back in '08 are still good. My local NAPA store has 'em in stock.
