I am quite sure someone will post something to effect that I should do it myself. Well, let me inform that person that my competency level in that area is not zero but in the negative number range (see my signature). I have 4 rims (1 - black, 1 - white, 1 - red and 1 - rust) that I need stripped, primed and painted. Any recommendations of a place in the Colorado Springs area that can do the job.

Go to Les Schwab, its a service they provide although they don't advertise it much. (Its kinda a best kept secret) They did mine and it only ran me around $220 if memory serves me correctly. The only down side, all their rims go to someplace in Oregon, as they do it for all the Les Schwab tire centers in the nation, so the lead time is 4-6 weeks. On the plus side, they bust out a book of colors that they can powder coat, so there is a ton of color options.

    Mine came back looking amazing.

Yep, it was $220+/-. I think it was around $52-59 per wheel. It was a great deal. I don't know why they don't advertise it more. Got mine done in 2016'ish.

Keep in mind if you have your wheels powder coated getting a pin stripe to stick will be a challenge.

    Thanks.

I wanted to take classic look and put a modern spin on them. Got them coated in Satan Black. I was thrilled the way they can out. Sadly, they've never been mounted. They are still sitting "new in the box" so to speak in the corner of my garage. They were suppose to go on the 5, but I sold it before I got around to purchasing tires. Now they're lying in wait until I find another project for them to go on.
