Finally getting ready to install my new gas tank and was reviewing the manual and posts on here as to where all the lines hook up. Went out to the shop to refresh my memory on what is on the rig and I don't see a Liquid Check Valve. Didn't actually crawl under there because I am not properly attired (work clothes). What I can see is the two lines that would go to the drivers side of the tank. One runs to the charcoal canister. The other runs along the frame and ends near the forward edge of the engine, not hooked up to anything. What I don't see is a Liquid Check Valve. Where should it be?

Thanks Tim. It was way up in there and for some reason I followed the green tube without realizing where it came from. Nothing in the manual indicates that it matters which of the two inlet hoses goes where on the check valve. The diagram looks like the centermost inlet on the check valve should be the "in" and if the float seals the vent line than the other would be the drain back to the tank. But then the more I look at it the more it seems it doesn't matter as long as the float rises and does its job. Correct? Second question, the second line form the charcoal canister goes to the air cleaner snorkel on a 2v 304. Correct?

Yes, I think that's right. There's no distinction between the two inlet nipples in the TSM. Look at section 4A.

Yes. According to the '75 TSM, the V8 canister has two hoses, as you describe.
