Fuel-vac Pump A^# Ache Need Help !!

    Been restoreing M38A1 ( 1952) getting to be road worthy soon but.. Put brand new carb on .. LEAKS out the bottom float rod.. Went back got another same thing.. TOOK OFF Three less than a year old on two cj5s and one off another 55 m38a1.. SAME THING.. I put the three back on the respective jeeps NO LEAKS..cant figure.. Called some people who are mechanics they have no clue !! One said put in in-line filter , didnt help same thing..This is a re-built f-head 134 engine completey done by myself and girlfriend..I have done 4 before this NO PROBLEMS..Got any ideas...I thought about putting an in-line fuel restricting valve in before the carb.. Ideas and past experence needed, this is a parade ready Jeep if I get this worked out...Thanks.....

    what's the fuel pressure. sounds like a tad to much, forcing needle and seat open. try hidding a regulator between pump and carb set at 2 psi.
