71 CJ5... I'm to the point where I am going to get the tub back on the frame. I am going to get a set of the poly disc mounts. The set comes with 14 discs and I am having trouble trying to figure out where they all go. I don't seem to remember having that many when I pulled the tub over a year ago. I have tried to look up old threads but it seems that when I find one that would have the pictures I need, the photos have been removed. Does anyone have photos or a drawing that can help me place all the mounts correctly. Words are good but photos or drawing are better for me to understand.

thanks, and as always any bits of advise or wisdom is welcomed

on my '69 there are 4 on the rear crossmember, 2 on the crossmember over ther rear axle, 2 on top of the frame rails where the tub has the step up from the floor to the bed area, 1 in the tool box and 2 for the front floorboard. my body mount kit came with a couple extra pucks for use on a cj6.

I used two pucks in each mount position, one between the body and the mount, and the other below the mount, with a large washer under the nut. I used locknuts and only tightened them just enough to take up the slack, I will go over them after the Jeep has a few miles on it.

Go look at the mounts on most any late model vehicle with a frame-----this is the way they do it.
