I just didn't know because my jeep is a 66 but has what I believe to be a later 225. Most have the oil bath cleaner. The CA192 fit and is what the 71 jeepster commando called for. I think that's what my motor is out of. The motor is red (which is original) not green and I had to make a spacer to fit the factory cleaner over the choke. The commando had a factory spacer but it seems they are unable to find!!!! Thanks for the help.

Well, the red engine may be a California thing. Or maybe they were red for 1971. Certainly the '68-70 Buick 350s in Wagoneers and trucks were red, and the 1971 and 1972 AMC 360s for California were red.

Since it says '71 in your sig, I looked up '71. The CA192 is also in the big group of filters that it pulled up, but I would prefer the Wix fliter - so I did not give the CA192 as an example.
