8 Mm Plug Wires

    Adding an HEI ignition for the 225 v6. Looking for a source of 8mm plug wires in yellow that won't need to be cut down. Any thoughts?

    Cutting your own is simple and some kits come with the tool. It saves $ and the outcome is really nice.

    Jegs generic kit is yellow. You'd have to buy the V8 kit and have wires left over. JEGS 8.5mm Ultra Pow'r Wires | Jegs High Performance Supposedly these are good wires. I've only bought the similar Summit wires (blue) and they work fine and are easy to cut and install.

    Otherwise Standard premium wires are silicone wire More Information for STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS 6627 They will fit without cutting. Not yellow though. Anything for a Buick 231 with the HEI ignition will work - I picked these from the listing for an '80 231 Skyhawk.
