74 Cj5 Proportion Valve Leak

    Hi Folks,

    Installed new Proportion valve. Worked fine for a while then started leaking at the warning switch.
    Brake system is new. Aside from a faulty switch, are there any other possibilities in the system that could cause it to fail?

    Faulty part. Should not leak. The warning switch section is simple - look at the TSM. It's a piston that only moves when there is a pressure imbalance between the front and rear circuits. There should not be any (or very much) pressure that can leak out of the switch part.
