Hi Guys, I wasn't quite sure how to title this, so hopefully I was close. I have a 71 CJ5 that used to have a rear under mounted fuel tank, which the previous owner removed. There is now a keg in the back used for a fuel tank, but I am not a huge fan. I would like to replace that tank with the older style under the driver's seat tank, which I have purchased from kaiserwillys.com. The body has a cover on the fuel filler hole that I need to remove. I am just curious if anyone has any ideas on the best way to remove it without damaging the rest of the body. I don't see any plug welds I can drill out. I guess one option would be to grind it off, but that seems kinda slow. Below are pictures of inside and out. Thanks for any help!
