    Hello All,
I'm new to the site and to the world of Jeep.
I'm glad to be here and I've already meet a fellow earlyjeeper that lives in my neighborhood, grouperboy!
I just purchased a 68 CJ 5 with 225 odd fire V6 :v6: and a t-18 Transmission! It's in great shape (very little rust) but needs some love. I'm going to try to upgrade somethings and restore others.
The first thing I tried to do was rebuild the Carb! I didn't do too good:( But
I was doing some research and I ran across a guy on ebay that takes Motorcraft 2100's and modifies them to fit the inline 6's. After I emailed him guess what he has??? A Jeepster!! so he said it would be no problem to modify the 2100 for the 225! It should be here this weekend!
With priority shipping it was a good deal! I'll post specifics if anyone want to know.
I'm new to this carburetor thing so I figured I'd just pay for my mistake and buy a bolt on replacement so that my Jeep will at least drive! And from what I've read on this and other forums the 2100 is a nice little offroad carb so all the better. :p
So this will give me an extra carb to hone my carburetor skills on while still driving the Yeti!

I'll post some pics and such a little later.
    It's good to be here.
