Everything about this is correct.
Anyone have info on this wonderful piece of machinery?
The only large snowblower I’ve ever seen on an old Jeep was powered by, IIRC, a V-4 Porsche engine mounted in the bed, and the drive shaft went past the passengers side door at about shoulder height.
Right. An outfit in MN can do a similar kinda deal with a Briggs on a skid that front mounts and runs below the Jeep/UTV.
This looks PTO powered tho, which is too cool for school.

Porsche never made a v4. More likely a wisconsin they were quite common.
Never say never.
Why did the Porsche 919 use a V4 engine?
But would an obviously ridiculously cheap engine like that be appropriate for a snow blower--------
haha thats new to me but im an air cooled guy. Can you imagine that! Yeah I got this old race car engine fit in the back of the old jeep perfect just had to add a few braces wind her up itll throw snow a half mile just dont forget your ear plugs
I'm couldn't find it in a quick hunt but there was a 3b with a front mounted 3pt snowblower that ran off a 3 belt clutch at the crank. It was much simpler than the rear ground driven or 2nd engine options
