I want to add an anti sway bar to my 72 CJ5. It’s a street/trail jeep, not a rock crawler, so I don’t need disconnects. I’m having a hard time finding one for the front. Should I go front or rear? Do they perform differently?

Front does the most for stability.

You should be able to fit either ADDCO 107 or 712. Addco also make a rear sway bar for intermediates but I would install the front and then evaluate whether you need a rear.

Front can make a pretty big difference (did on mine)... rear prob only matters if you have a heavy (hard?) top on it... just my .02$ ymmv.
i used the 76 and up drop brackets and the addco bar mentioned above. The kit with the bar drills too many holes in the frame and the drop bracket functions much better imho. You can find the brakets on ebay for not much money.

    Good luck!
